About

Meet Milo.

A scattered, lovable stick figure with 47 tabs open. He is the viewer on a normal day.

What this is

Start Stupid Small makes short animated videos about real ADHD traits: time blindness, waiting mode, hyperfocus, the task you cannot start. Each one tells a tiny story about Milo, explains what is going on in plain words, and ends with one fix small enough to feel slightly ridiculous.

Big tasks freeze your brain. Tiny tasks trick it into starting. That is the whole idea, and it is where the name comes from.

Who it is for

Adults who suspect, or know, they have ADHD, and who are tired of being told to try harder. Nobody here is lazy. The blame always lands on the mechanism, never on the person.

What we will not claim

  • Nothing medical. No diagnosis, no treatment, no medication advice.
  • No statistics or study results unless the source is named.
  • No promise that a tip works for everyone. A tip is something to try.

This is educational content, not medical advice. For diagnosis or treatment, talk to a healthcare professional.

How the videos are made

The scripts, animation and narration are produced with the help of AI tools, then reviewed by a person before anything is published. Milo is a cartoon, so there are no "I did this for 30 days" stories here.

Who is behind it

Start Stupid Small is an independent channel made in British Columbia, Canada. To get in touch, use the contact page.
